"Even though it doesn't look like it, I'm completely capable of kicking your butt."
Personality:
Even though she's a tiny water faerie, Lailie is a little fireball. She's feisty, argumentative, and a bit narcissistic. She will throw herself into situations and fights without another thought. She adores commotion and will often act upon impulse without thinking twice. She doesn't ever stop and think about the consequences, she just does whatever comes to mind first. She's always up to speed. Lailie often doesn't know danger levels, or care. She doesn't think about how dangerous something or someone could be. She's completely oblivious. She could get herself into a fight with someone twice her size and not care. She isn't easily intimidated. She will be quick to try and bash someone with her tiny fists and feet. She loves a god adventure or quest. Sitting around doing nothing just isn't her style. She likes to go out and explore, to be in the know. She is allured by the idea of adventure, so she isn't one to sit and wait around. Lailie is also determined. Once she has her mind set on something, there's no stopping her. You can't argue about something with her; she's stubborn as a boulder. Lailie is also curious. She wants to know everything, so she'll often go sticking her nose in where it doesn't belong. She has a creative, imaginative mind which tends to wander off every which way. If she's bored, she'll start to daydream. So it's very hard to get her attention. She has an extremely short attention span, so she's not a very good listener. But Lailie is also a loyal person. She will stick up for those she loves would never betray someone. She is also a nice person to talk to, since she tends to be rather random in her conversations. Lailie has a true heart of gold, when she wants to.
Biography:
[/blockquote][/blockquote]It had always been expected of Aspen Dorn to marry a water faerie. Her entire family was pure water. So when word got out that she was marrying Hal Sage, the troublemaker fire faerie, her family was quite displeased.
Aspen had been flying through the forest on her way back from a visit to one of her friends, who lived on the other side of the Faerie Realm, when she first met Hal. She had heard several stories about him: he was known for his pranks on the water faerie community in which she lived. She had treated him with much disdain at first. But she saw him again barely a week water. Hal had fell for her at first meeting, and had been watching her. This very much agitated Aspen at first, but she soon grew to love the mischievous twinkle in his eye and the spark in his voice. She would often sneak out secretly to meet him, and they would talk for hours on end. But it didn't take long for someone to notice. Aspen had another lover, a water faerie named Jasper. One night, he followed her, and saw her meeting with him, and he was outraged. He confronted her when she was returning to her home. Horrified, Aspen begged him not to tell. And he agreed he wouldn't; but on one condition. She had to do whatever he said. Bitterly, Aspen agreed, and became basically a slave towards Jasper. He blackmailed her for five months. And then he told her to marry him. Disgusted, that was when she put her foot down. He lunged at her, arm outstretched to strike her face, when she fled out the window of his cottage and flew out to Hal. He comforted her, and they ran off together.
Six months later on one cool June night, Lailie was born. They gave her the birth name Serendipity, because of the fortunate events that had caused Hal and Aspen to come together, and gave her the nickname Lailie(pronounced Lie-lee), because she was a beautiful babe born at night. It was a night to celebrate. Lailee was an exact mix of the couple. Her hair, eyes, and wings turned out purple, like Hal and Aspen's colors had been mixed together(Hal having red hair, eyes, and wings, and Aspen having blue hair, eyes, and wings.) She had inherited Aspen's pretty features and Hal's feisty personality.
At age three, Lailie showed signs that she was a water faerie. It was then that Hal and Aspen decided they would go to Aspen's water coloney and let them meet their child. After that, they would live on their own, just the three of them. But that didn't happen. The return of Aspen and arrival of Lailie and Hal caused an uproar in the community. Jasper had been bitterly angry at Aspen and Hall all those years. As soon as he had the chance, Jasper crept up behind Hal and drove a knife right through his heart. Aspen and Lailie were confined to the water faerie community, and Aspen was forced too marry her husband's murderer.
Jasper wasn't a good father or husband. He hated Aspen for what she had done to him and Lailie for being the turnout. He would hit them and order them around. That was Lailie's life for seven years. It was when Lailie was ten that, in a fit of rage, Jasper killed Aspen while Lailie was asleep in her bed. She woke up to Jasper shaking her awake. He grabbed her and fled the community with her. So Lailie lived for two more years in the middle of the wilderness with her abusive step-father, cowering from all other faeries for fear that they would recognize Jasper as the murderer of Aspen Dorn. But one day a group of fire faeries, who had been Hal's good friends, stumbled upon Jasper and Lailie. They took Lailie from him and killed Jasper. So for the next two years(and the present) Lailie lived in the fire faerie community, even though she wasn't a fire faerie. Her horrible past led her to the conclusion that, instead of living in a community, she would go out on quests and help others out and feed her curiosity about the world, and all the stories she heard about the other realms and the chaos.

Weaknesses:
Iron, Charms of roan and herbs, cannot lie easily.

She normally uses a katana, or just her hands and feet.
Fighting Style:
Lailie fights gracefully and swiftly, staying light on her feet an agile as a cat. She makes sure that she is always moving. Lailie isn't big not very strong, so she will normally take a jab then move somewhere else, jab, then move again. She repeats that style until her opponent gets confused or unbalanced, and finishes them off with a hard kick(she has a powerful foot.) Of course, if she has her katana with her, she will use a series of complicated moves instead of punches and kicks. She has exceptional aim, so she is very precise when she takes a swipe at someone. Sometimes, she will use her glamour to trick her opponent, or use water.
